The FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting is suitable for:

The FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting qualification has been designed for those looking to progress further in their bookkeeping and accounting career.

By completing this qualification, you will learn how to:

FNSACC516 Implement and maintain internal control procedures
FNSACC517 Provide management accounting information

Elective Units
BSBLDR402 Lead effective workplace relationships
FNSACC408 Work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry
BSBITU402 Develop and use complex spreadsheets
FNSACC414 Prepare financial statements for non-reporting entities

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting qualification.  

WiseClick’s FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting is a nationally recognised qualification from the Financial Services Training Package which complies with the Australian Qualifications Framework standard.

The FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting has an 18 month enrolment period.

Students familiar with bookkeeping and accounting concepts may complete the course in a shorter period depending on your skill level and experience.

Completion of ONE of the following qualifications and units, or their equivalent is required prior to enrolment.

  • FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Dual Qualification FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting and FNS40215 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent including BSBITU402 Develop and use complex spreadsheets unit.

The qualifications listed above must also include the FNSACC311 Process financial transactions and extract interim reports unit

Units you hold on your current qualification may be eligible for Credit Transfer to the Diploma qualification. Q – Can i complete faster?
A – Yes all students will receive an 18 month period but if you have prior experience you may find you complete sooner.

Q – What support do you offer?
A – All students receive unlimited phone and email support, we even have a number to call on evenings and weekends. Your never alone with us!

Q – How does it work?
A – We will provide you with a comprehensive study guide. The study guide will instruct you on how to work through each unit including how to work through the manual and the exercises and where to find what you need for each unit. It also helps with extra learning tasks and guides you to what unit assessments to complete.

Q – Do i need to purchase software to complete this course?
A – No, we will provide student edition software when it is required. You will need to have a computer with MS Word, MS Excel and PDF software at home.

Q – How do i complete assessments?
A – You will receive access to our online student portal. We will release unit assessments to you on here. The online portal allows you to upload items at tasks and save your work as you go. Test questions have either multiple choice selections or a field for you to fill in your answers.

Q – Do you help with finding a job after i finish?
A – To help our students find jobs we have a job placement register that all students are eligible to be listed on. We have extensive links within the industry which mean when someone is looking for staff they come to us. We will put your resume forward for the position if their criteria meets what you are looking for in a position.

Q – I haven’t studied in a while, will i be able to do it?

Over two weeks one day a week this month I attended Wiseclick Training with Tarryn completing a Getting Started With Xero Accounting Software course. Previous to attending Wiseclick, I had completed a Xero course on-line by myself with another Xero course provider which I thought I was happy with until I attended Wiseclick.

As the course for Xero is completed with the Demo company, both courses should have been similar but were not. With small class numbers, Tarryn was a first class presenter in my opinion making time for everyone’s questions together with offering practical advice in getting around in the program.

I would like to say thank you to Tarryn and Wiseclick for making me much more comfortable and confident in the use of Xero, I learned such a lot.
